I'd say is has to be the Ducks, they went into game 4 and got beat handily. I can't say the Rangers are OVERconfident they are just confident and playing well. I'm not sure I'd want to be their next opponent because they have nothing to loose and they are having fun. They have a veteran team and they are playing well the rest of the teams in the east better be watching out for the Rangers.Detroit, but after tonight it WILL be the rangers lol

I dont know about Buffalo...they may be TOO cocky right now, and it came back to bite them in game 2 against the Isles. Ottawa did the EXACT same thing last year, and Buffalo made them pay, I still remember Spezza saying that he thought the Sens were better and would easily beat the Sabres. Now I think the Sabres are doin the same thing, and Ottawa is more modest, so if they meet up in the playoffs again, Ottawa could knock Buffalo out.Also, without Peters in net, you know Emery could beat the crap out of everyone on the Buffalo bench.

do you really need to ask? at 7-0 in their last game the rangers are most overconfident, especially with a lead of 3-0 in the series. but that doesnt mean that they will win for sure. remember, pride comes before a fall. :)Those RANJERKS who won again tonight. It used to be Jersey... but they have developed a sudden inability to win games.Buffalo is up there, but they don't have the right since they are barely staying ahead of the Islanders.
The Rangers deserve their overconfidence... they have earned it. Hopefully they will be smart enough not to let it extend to their second series.

New York Rangers . Rightfully so , they came into the playoff hot. (having to win alot of games to get in) I dont think you cant take anything away from Thrashers , they got a good team (Kovalchuk , Hossa , Tkachuk) but they are just inexperience. The first 2 games were 1 goal game , game 3 , they just lost it.I think its has to do with Momentum more than anything else. (With a month and half or so Rangers were out of playoff , think how many game they have to win to get 6th seed) Its all about going on hot streak. Same thing last season , Devils swept the Rangers because Devils were hot and Rangers were on a losing streak.
