3 Things I have Learned From This Site?
Question:This is more of an observation
1. If you are not a fan of the Buffalo Sabres you are not knowledgable about hockey, no matter how many years you have played or followed the game, or how many state championship hockey games you have played in.
2. Watching the New Jersey Devils is more boring than going to a wake, though they have some dynamic high-scoring forwards, a hall of fame goaltender, and the scores of their games in the first two rounds are relativly the same as all other series have been.
3. Teams like the Carolina Hurricanes don't belong in the league because the south has no place in hockey, though the area is growing, has a much higher population than places like Winnepeg, sells out almost everynight, and is made up of mostly relocated Yankees coming from places like Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Detroit.
I just want to thank all of you for informing me of these three things.

Can't argue points 1 and 3, mostly because I'm laughing too hard. However, with regards to the Devils, I have to object even though your take was a funny one.I believe the only reason the scores are up in NJ games is because Brodeur is no longer successfully impersonating a wall and that is forcing them to abandon their preferred gameplan. Afterall, the trap doesn't work when you're trailing, right?
Furthermore, I've never contested the Devils' talent level, only their style of play. Maybe others have trashed the team and I'm over-personalizing your observations. Good non-question, man.

You left out:4) Crosby will break every record in the NHL, even though he will have to switch to netminding at some point in his career to accomplish this.
5) Jordin Tootoo is a sweetheart and the Nashville fans actually do have class.
6) Shootouts have ruined the game of hockey.

4) The Buffalo Sabres are FULL of bandwagon jumpers...when they miss the playoffs no one is interested in them, all of a sudden they make the playoffs in back to back years (OOOOH...what an accomplishment...) and now everyone has been a LIFE LONG Sabres Fan.I dont buy it, and neither does the rest of the NHL...dont worry though, next year when they miss the playoffs who can put your Sabres jersey into the back of your closet and pull out your Rangers jersey again.

4) If wikipedia were ever to stop running, post counts would go down by many so-called experts.You are right the south has no place for hockey. I love the game but would give it up if all the damn yankees would take it back with them. STAY UP NORTH
You forgot that the Penguins, Sabres, Devils, Red Wings, Sharks, and Ducks are all going to simeltaneously win the Stanley Cup. Also the game winning goal for all of the teams will be scored by either Lemieux, Crosby, Ovechkin, or Gretzky, regardless of the fact that half of them are retired and two of them are out of the playoffs.
The above mentioned 6 teams all suck. Simply ask any fan of the other 5 teams. They reasons they suck vary slightly.
Sabres- Overrated and full of bandwagon fans.
Penguins- Overrated and full of bandwagon fans, in a addition to having a star player that whines and has no talent while outscoring every other player in the NHL.
Red Wings- Overrated and like having sex with octopi
Devils- Overrated and boring
Sharks- Overrated come from a place with no natural ice
Ducks- Overrated and come from a place with no natural ice
Also, if you think a wake is boring, you clearly havn't been to a proper one.

Just FYI, Nashville's attendance is so bad that the City of Nashville is going to have to buy about 2000 season tickets from the team next year (what a great way to spend taxpayer money!) to keep them from threatening to move.And they were in first place most of the season. So much for that theory about "winning brings fans".
