Question:wow, what a game! i think that was the Ducks best game all series. although it got slightly interesting at the end, the Ducks slammed the door on the wings. we never got into much of a rhythm. the Ducks jumped out early, and seemed to be playing w/ a passion.
Well done. the Ducks overcame adversity w/ Pronger being out for game 4, and being shutout at home for game 3. yet found ways to win despite being outshot at times. and that's key. winning the Cup is not about having the most shots. it's making those shots count. the Ducks coach did a great job dismantling the wings finesse style offense (which is our weakness). we just couldn't match Anaheim's physicality. i think the turnaround point was game 4, post game-3.
anyway, good luck in the Finals. i don't hate the Sens, but i will be rooting for the Ducks. i think the West is stronger, and the Sens have peaked by getting the monkey off their back. Anaheim is hungry. and has been configured and coached to win it all.

I agree. Both teams played a heckuva series. Most games could've gone either way. When a team is built as good as the Ducks are and they're getting some lucky bounces, there's just no way to beat em'. Detroit did play an awesome series but came up short a couple of times, no reason to hang your heads for too long, after the sting of the loss starts to dull a little bit, Wings fans should feel good about their teams success this year. They did better than ANYBODY outside Detroit thought they would. By the way, thanks for eliminating the Sharks for us, they looked pretty scary until they ran into Detroit.Canucks Ultimate fan contest, did you see this lil girl??
ya i agree i think that the wings out played the ducks in almost every game in the postseason but the ducks found a way to win. the capitalized on Detroit's mistakes. although we made alot of them when it counted they were right there. so congrats and watch out for the spezza heatley alfredsson line they have been hotAnybody have a really good high quality picture of Joe Sakic?
No question to answer but wanted to thank you.What a great game/series.I watched the game with a old friend of mine who happens to be from Detroit and a big fan.How many years i have been on the loosing end of a Detroit beating, being from Los Angeles Iam a kings fan also.So you can understand my glee.I think reading alot of the posts ,people from back east have not seen much of the ducks this year,even the media.well ducks in 6.thanks again.Well played. There are a lot of johnnie come lately Duck fans flooding the hockey category right now. It's nice to see a Detroit fan show some class and still show interest in the games to come. It will be a rough few days until the finals start and I have a bad feeling that we will be surrounded by morons real soon. But, like a wise man once said, "if you listen to fools, the mob rules."
