Lol, great question, I was really amused.Nah, probably not. A couple of friends of mine visited Vancouver in March (we're Ducks fans no less, but this was before playoffs) and while there were a couple of glares when they walked around in their jerseys, people mostly left them alone (now, probably not so much). However, three different people confronted them when they thought they overheard them making fun of Luongo's name. It was comical. :D
Also, if you have problems getting American games in Canada (I don't see why you should, but if you live somewhere you can't order Center Ice or something), you can stream a lot of the games online at http://myp2p.eu/nhl.htm.
