Tough question. I would suggest, even though Crosby leads in scoring, Ovechkin simply because he can take care of himself on the ice. Crosby needs a little protection when on the ice. Ovechkin can hit as well as score.I need award ideas for my hockey team?
IMHO Crosby is better @ being a "playmaker" & setting up his teammates; while Ovechkin is a better "finisher" & scoring goals...Both I think are equal concerning overall talent (edge goes to A.O. for physical play); their styles though are different.Sabres Vs. I would say that at this point in time it is still too early to tell with the talents that both players have they are both very talented and as well pretty equal. I would like to see Ovechkin with more talent around him and see if that changes his game or how his numbers would be affected. right now if i had to pick one i'd give a slight edge to Ovechkin because of his physical play and as well it has been shown that it is possible to get under Crosby's skin.Can i surrender to her charms ?

I would have to say crosby due to his vision on the ice. the guy is a major playmaker and more of a team player than ovechkin. ovechkin is better at checking, and both can score goals. A.O has the edge on finishing.Who will play on Forsberg's line?
All you jerk...fs that think Sid is a cry baby obviously did not see the game yesterday. Ovechkin wined like a little baby to the referee's and then busted is stick over the boards. Crosby may have cried allot last year, but this year he is letting his play do the talking. He has taken several cheap shots this year. But what is more impressive, he is 19 and leading the League in scoring. They are both great players the only way to decide who is better, lets wait until their careers are over and see who wins more championships.I think both of them are great players. Crosby I think is getting overrated with all the talks of him being the next Gretzky. Thats just my opinion. Wait and see years down the line when the careers are just about over and compare the stats then.

Crosby is leader in points. Ovechkin in Goals...Last year, Ovechkin was better in points and goals. Crosby has improved and has over 70 points in about 50 games played. That's great... If I were you though, I'd remember it is more than just stats, watch a few games. Ovechkin is a beautiful goal scorer and Crosby knows how to set people up. I think Ovechkin is a little bit better, but he's full of himself. At the skills competiton he told everyone he was sure he was going to get fastest time around the rink. Crosby is something though. When Luongo stopped everyone in the skills comp., Crosby was the only one in the East who could beat him and he topped him twice! I like Crosby a lot. Everyone says hes the new gretzky, but just remember there will never be another Gretzky.Is anyone else glad the Sabres beat the islanders?

Tough question. That is like asking "who is better.Gretzky or Lemieux?" They both excelled in certain aspects of the game with Gretzky being a more finess playmaker and Lemieux being a more physical forward. right now there's no comparison. Although Crosby has better supporting talent, he's also much better in terms of opening up ice by his skating and moves and tying up defenders in order to open up bunches of ice for his teammates. Ovechkin doesn't have the same talent to do this. He doesn't see the ice the same way.Here's a change of pace from playoff talk..question?
This is always a tough question because each player has different attributes. Sure Crosby is leading in points but Ovechkin is leading in goals. Ovey is older giving him more experience and he set some impressive records in the Russian Super League. He's very physical and not afraid to hit.Give them a few years to really develop!
