If an NHL team were to move tomorrow, who would it be and why?

Nhl Arena Conversion?

Nashville will definitely be the first to go because despite the team's on-ice success, the franchise has been unable to attract fans. They averaged less than 14,000 fans per game, and even that number is inflated. The sale of the franchise to a Canadian billionaire living near Hamilton, Ontario adds more fuel to speculation that the Predators will move soon.

Next in line to move should be the Florida Panthers, Columbus Blue Jackets, Phoenix Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks, and Atlanta Thrashers. The Carolina Hurricanes is skating on thin ice also.

I am looking for a classic PC Hockey video game called Face Off, the version that was on sale in 1990?

The Penguins because they have been seriously considering moving (I think they worked their problems out though).

What happens if the Calgary Flames and Colorado Avalanche are tied for points at the end of the season.?

Either of the Florida teams.

Red Wings in Deep Doo Doo !?

Nashville is going to Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.

This is the result of the Canadian Billionare, who just so happens to have a reported deal with that city worth about half a million to bring a Canadian franchise to Hamilton, purchasing the Nashville Predators. Due to the teams struggling market, and lack of Canadian teams... this move seems highly likely.

Has a player ever gone -1 goals scored in a season before?

Uh... I think the person who put the Penguins has been in a sensory deprivation tank for the last 4 months. The Pens have a new arena coming with a 30 year lease. So they arn't going anywhere.

If any team moves it would probably be Nashville

Who like the Tri Cities Americans in the WHL?

I'd say Nashville, the guy who tried to buy the Penguins has bought the Predators, and he can move the city if he wishes, however I dont think its too likely, but if he does move it, I'd like to see it moved to Winnipeg

I needs links to hockey training videos?

With Pittsburgh settled and Nashville with new ownership (we'll assume everyone is happy there for the moment), there's no real candidate. I'm not sure where the Islanders are in their fight for a new arena, but if that falls through they could be a candidate.

By the way, no one is moving to Hamilton, Ontario, any time soon. The Sabres have territorial rights to Hamilton, as do the Maple Leafs. The Sabres would never let a team go there. The arena would have to be severly upgraded (suites) in order to meet NHL standards these days.

What the heck is the Vancouver Canucks team logo?

Either NashVille or Florida

Nashville: They Need to Move Out of that GayLord Centre ! Gives them a bad name!

Florida: Not a Lot of Fans Supporting! and there is tampa bay so who needs 2 florida teams?

Is anyone laughing as hard as me watching the way the MAPLE LAUGHS got denied the PLAYOFFS AGAIN?

All I know is that Detroit should somehow be moved to the Eastern Conference...

All this B.S. about traveling an extra 4,000 miles during the playoffs than anyone else...and all of the 10:30 PM games make it impossible to watch many series..

It is ridiculous.

Michigan State Wins! Michigan State Wins?

The Florida Panthers should pack up and move to Winnipeg. Winnipeg needs a team again

What do other Hockey Fans think of the Penguins?

nashville for sure. The owner just sold the team and there is a possibility that the new owner will move the team

Looking for some funny or cool team names for my hockey team.?

I remember reading New Jersey was unable to attract any sellout crowds during their entire playoff run. I'm sure they're not the only team, but it's still very surprising that a team with three cups can't pack them in.

Seriously, are the refs blind? Or am I just biased?

The Edmonton Oilers. They have been living on borrowed time since Peter Pocklington decided to trade away his best players - beginning with Wayne Gretzky being traded to the Kings.

At that time, they found a way to remain in Edmonton, but today's economy, player salaries, the importance of arena revenue, and a few other factors make it nearly impossible to be profitable and competitive on the ice in smaller Canadian cities.

I hope I am wrong, but it seems to me that the Oilers are headed for Kansas City.

And there will not be any teams moving to Hamilton.

Big name players hitting the market this year?

Nashville to Southern Ontario.

They've just been sold because they have lost money for the last 10 years and they average less tha 14,000 fans per game.

Southern Ontario needs another team, there is a huge number of hockey fans who can't possibly get Leaf tickets.
