Bottom line...the defense and goaltending are good enough, the question will be can they score playoff style goals (they need to find a rugged winger). Edit: "Anaheim? HA!"? That's a strange comment considering they're 14 points ahead of Detroit and first in the league. It's also hard to win when you're team can't score goals.
Playoffs. Who said they were going to make the playoffs. If they do Hasek won't play. That means more time in the states and he just wants to pick up a paycheck and go back to Prague.
They'll do fine until they get to the Ducks. As much as it pains me to say so the Ducks are going all the way. It wil be the Ducks vs. the Preds and the Ducks are going to win. Detroit is having a few problems right now, but I think they will have a good run at it. I just wish that they kept Manny Legacy in stead of taking Dom back.The way they're playing right now, pretty good but not really good, with the way the Western Conference is right now, they MIGHT make it through the first round but after that they'll probably go up against Nashville, San Jose, or Anaheim, who right now could put them away.
That power play needs to get better than what it is, even with Hasek there they're not scoring goals like it'd take to get deeper in the playoffs.
