Mountain Stance Block?

Does anyone know what this is? It's a move I read in a Sai form, and I can't for the life of me figure out what it means. Thanks

Do.?

Well, im not sure if the Mountain stance block in the Sai form is the same as in Tae Kwon Do, but we call the stance Defense against the mountain. It is a block that TKD teaches to defend against a flying side kick. You do it by going into a horse stance and both arms, elbows bent at 90 degrees with your palms facing toward you. Once perfected, it is an exceptional block to use. When stepping with this block, you bring the rear foot to the inside of your opposite leg upper inner thigh, twist your body and step down, snapping the block as you step down. Hope this helps.

Quitting something I love?
