Where can i get more information on sabaki(japanese martial art)?

Better for what? Better for whom? It depends on the imstructor. It depends on the specific style. Kung Fu (really Shaolin Boxing) has many vraieties, there are probably greater differences between different Shaolin styles than there are between TKD & some Shaolin styles. Find a good instructor. Good Luck.

hi there,
i have had a less but good experience in a martial art known as goju ryu which was more or less based on the white crane system of martial arts near the fuchian province of china.

for now, i wish i was able to find a teacher to pursue my interest in the arts of the martial science.

ok, :-) back to reality !!if u luk at taekwondo, the art focuses on the use of feet more than the usage of hands. In Kung Fu, there is a balanced combination of hands and feet .
i feel if someone learns taekwondo, and get better with the feet, then they should learn boxing so that they would be able to use their hands effectively as they would use their feet.

i assume this has given u the opp to understand the difference.
moreover, taekwondo has a lot of focus on sports, with the usage of the high kicks, which in real life defense is pretty dangerous and not recomended, whereas Kung fu practioners will have a high hitting capacity which would be more like an iron ball pounding against the opponent.

think bout it , luk at some clips on youtube.com and heck u will get to know bout it ...

How do you get off sleeping pills?

There is no better art, only better artists.
The quality and frequency of training far outweigh the style of training.

Looking for wushu ....martial arts?

There is no Martial Art that is "better" than another, only the individual studying the discipline can be the better fighter; not the discipline and Tae Kwon Do is ONE of several Korean Martial Arts while Kung Fu is the generalized name for at least 18 Chinese Martial Arts Disciplines ( Bagua, Drunken Boxing, Eagle Claw, Five Animals (dragon, crane, tiger, panther, and snake), Hsing I, Hung Gar, Lau Gar, Monkey, Praying Mantis, White Crane, Wing Chun and Tai Chi Chuan. to name a few, but there are more not listed here.
.
TKD emphasizes an 80% kicking and 20% percent hand technique but it is effective in it's own right. Many people (including many other Martial Artists that study other disciplines) consider it to be "flashy" or ineffective (because of it's inclusion in the Olympics as a sport), but this is not true; as it's techniques are just as powerful or effective as those in any other Martial Art.

depending on WHICH discipline you study in Kung Fu is up to you but is still totally different from TKD, but the Chinese disciplines are usually more well rounded in their kicking and punching techniques as well as their defense techniques.

TKD actually came from Chinese Martial Arts (just as many of the Martial Arts did), but was changed by the founder of TKD and the discipline "evolved" into what it is today.

you just have to find a good school that teaches and emphasizes good, proper technique and training, and train on a regular basis to become the best Martial Artist YOU can be.

What is the easiest martial art to learn?

It depends on what you're going for. Taekwondo has a larger organization, meaning that if you get a yellow belt in Ohio and move to Texas then you'll still be a yellow belt, and the same all the way up the scale. Also, all the tournoments you go to are likely to use the same sparing rules and scoring that you use at your school. On the other hand, Kung Fu is usually a more complete Martial Art system. I've met very few Taekwondo students who were any match for my students at the same level in a real fight, but mu students sometimes do poorly at a taekwondo tournoments because they aren't used to the rules.

Do I look like someone who would be good at martial arts?

you should also take into account that there are many different styles of kung fu available. you'd probably have to evaluate each one against tae kwon do to see what's best

Do i have to do back flips in karate?

No but Tae Kwon Do is very good. It all depends on the practitioner really. Look up Bujinkan Budo.

Who would you prefer to fight in a bar, Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes or Ken Shamrock?

How does a Muay Thai or a kick boxer build their legs stronger,to deliver a powerful kick beside kicking?

Kung fu has too many splits to standardise. so it hard to compare your level with others. But the effects of practice within your body you can feel, is great.
