Dont you know that you cant teach violence?

i've read a lot of questions and answers and ppl say a lot about street situations and self defence some good some bad.the few ive seen about actual violence are nowhere near the mark except maybe ST G,you cant learn or teach violence.A truly violent person is born that way.And a truly violent person is something to behold(not saying it's a good thing)but you would have to have seen a truly violent person to understand.i know for a fact that truly violent ppl keep it hidden from the rest of the world.Because truly violent ppl are ashamed and afraid of themselves.(not necsacsarily by choice)it's one reason some ppl take up ma to keep themselves under control

I agree with you, although you aren't just born out of the womb completely genetically inclined to hurt things, it is taught, usually from a young age. I have seen a truly violent person, and i completly know the difference between a controlled fighter and an uncontrolled violent person. It scares me to watch as a bystander, even now, when i know that i could defend myself against him. I also know about the being afraid of youself, that was when i was younger and didn't know much about self control, and luckily much about martial arts either. But since then, i have trained myself not to be bothered by people, and have won far more fights with words than with fists.
I'm not sure if what i said relates to your question, but i said it anyway, i agree that violence is not taught, you can't teach someone to be violent and uncontrolled, it's paradoxal, i can't teach you to be uncontrolled, but that is not to say that it is not learned. If you look at kids in street gangs, they just learn to be violent in order to survive. This does sicken me though that children need to be violent to survive, and i wish that it wasn't so. In my life i have absolutely no need for violence, so i get rid of any stress in my life through martial arts and training, turning anything destructive into something consrtuctive. So i taught myself control with the help of martial arts, thorugh mental and physical training, because i hate violence, and i dislike hurting people. Now that i think about it, for not liking hurting people so much, i know better techniques in greater abundance than anyone but three of the people i have ever met. There are better people out there, i know this, but oh well, i know that i am always in control and i think that this is what the question was about, i have gotten sidetracked.

Can someone give me a list of all judo schools in South Texas?

maybe you cant teach violence, but you can teach stupidity, that leads to ignorance, that eventually leads to..you guessed it...violence.

Kung fu, karate, tae kwon do. why do ppl stil teach ?

i see what your saying but thats also like saying serial killers are just born that way and thats no true, it has alot to do with there life, like richard ramirez for ex, his cousin or uncle, can't remember, would show him pictures of all these women he had tied up and then raped when he was in Vietnam, and then killed his wife in front of him, so that feed to his later tendencies it may not have been is uncle/cousins fault but that early exposure had an impact on richard(who i can't wait to finally visit!!!)

Does anyone know a good, cheap place to fence in London?

You can teach people to be violent (or peaceful) People's behavior can change & sometimes has to.

What fighting style goes with the german "zienhander" sword? im not sure if i spelled zienhander correctly.

I don't agree, it's obvious that violence CAN be taught. Ever since about the beginning of the 20th century average people off the street have been taught to bayonet, shoot, burn, blow up, etc. each other and they have succeeded in killing each other by the millions.

"Iceman" Liddell versus "Rampage" Jackson 2. Who wins and Why?

being violent can and is taught. it is not genetically predetemined.

for the best examples of violence just pick your favorite freedom fighting group from Africa. Watch how they take normal kids, force them to murder their family and others, rape, torture, etc. until these acts become meaningless to the now violent youth.

now i will say that there is no real substitute for learning how to fight like being in a real fight

If some one is in martial arts for nine or ten years do they have a passion for it ?

I believe violence occurs when know other choice is available. I believe also that all of us are born as wild animals and have to be taught to be human. Those that are not taught remain animals.
Left to their own accord humans are naturally kind and civilized.

I have a tae kwon do question?

I do not understand your question here...it seems to me that you want to simply make a statement. Martial Arts is not about learning to be violent. It is about learning to deal with a violent person if you absolutely HAVE to.
