We are, although we've had a weaker spell recently, but we're preparing a stylish comeback in 2007. This is because of a 35-year tradition now and because of the training methods. And maybe it just suits the temperament &natural qualities of our girls.Please be specific about the "looks" part. Romanians are Europeans, hence Caucasian, if that's what you're asking. Romanian gymnasts are dominant in the gymnastics world (mostly in artistic). This is because they train a lot! If it wasn't for the Romanian's America would have never won an all-around gold. (Bela Karyoli, defected into America in the '80s opened a gym, and trained young Mary Lou)EDIT:
As I said they're the best because they train a lot. If you read Bela Karyoli's autobiograhpy you'll find that they actually search schools for girls who have a flair for gymnastics and train them in special camps that have an inboard school. They train for hours and they train the girls when they're young. They learn (as Romanian's are famous for) advanced beam moves young and then since they can do it on the beam they can do it on the floor. They are extremely competitive (at competitions when they get less than first place a lot of them cry). All of the gymnasts also have choreographers, and some of them take years of ballet.
They also train more at rhythmic gymnastics than other America. They learn at young ages how to handle the apparatuses and they train hard and for long hours just like the artistic gymnasts. They also train vehemently on flexibility (as all gymnasts do), but more than the Americans. They spend a much longer time than Americans stretching.

Like me.I am a romanian Girl indo europeean i look just like you, and indeed Romanian Gymnasts are very good. They won all medals at the last olympics.

they used to be better than most countries but now they are not as good as they used to be or everybodyt else is getting better. so ya they used to be better than everyone else but not anymore. america is now one of the better countries.
