How do i tell him he's dumped?
Actually, I like this question. I too enjoy sportsin track peripheral to the sprints (though I love the sprints too!) All too often we get to see a couple of throws and then suffer through the announcers trying to impress us with their own knowledge of the sport or insipid backgorund pieces ("Yanuk trained in Bosnia by throwing heavy rocks into minefields for 10 yerkels per bomb.")I just want to be able to see his techniques a couple of times so I can see how the sport has evolved since my day. With hudreds of channels of content to fill, perhaps someday soon we will be able to watch complete competitions of the shot or pole vaulting. BTW: some sports bore me as well. I fall asleep watching marathon running.
Give me a definition of "Olympic Village" please!?
There are many things that irritate me about track meets on t.v. and the first is they will show some guy making one throw and say here is so and so with his winning toss. How do I know that and where is the rest of the competition? It seem to me that the director decides we will see a few races, the winning attempt at which ever Field event they want to show and then hours of somebody at home with his family or so other crap that has nothing to do with the meet. When was skateboarding a olympic game?
Hopefully sometime after the paint drying event. They are equally exciting!!More Questions & Answers...
