Has anyone had arthroscopy done on their knee?...?

I am a dancer and have recently had surgery on my knee for tearing my meniscus, and it is sooooo painful. I don't want to tell my mom my knee hurts because whe won't understand. she'll make me quit dance, and drill team is my life. Should I just lie and say it feels better, or tell her the truth?

Tell her the truth...something may be wrong...the doctor may not have corrected the problem, you may have an infection, or...it might be as simple as the swelling hasn't gone down enough. Tell the truth so they can make sure everything is done correctly, so you can be dancing again as soon as possible.

Good Luck.

What should i do?!?

tell her the truth that it hurts I don't think you are suppose to be doing things like that after an Arthoscopy- you should check with a doctor about physical fitness and pain-

I just had the same surgery done two and a half weeks ago and it still hurts sooooooo bad. I would not start dancing yet. It is to early. I'm lucky I can walk. I would't push it.
