What do you think the chances of Chicago getting the Olympic bid over LA??
Neither. They both are letting their issue get way out of hand, neither one seems to be willing to let it go (forgive, forget and move on), and just skate.
They both seem to be pretty stuck on themselves.
Granted they are rivals from the same country, but come on...you can congratulate a rival - they congratulated the Italian.
There is definately more going on, but still you think that two of the best skaters in the world could act civil.
When is the closing ceremony of the Asian games?
support both because they represent the country that I love and live in...they're personal issues...at first I thought that it was shelfish to focus on You (Shani) but at the same time I understand why he did it..I understand Chad's point of view because he skates for the USA and it's opinion that they would have done a lot better if Shani would have skated. It would have been nice for Shani to back out of the relay before he committed to it...if it's one of his events, skate in the damn thing, because not only did it look bad for the USA but it prevented someone else being able to be committed to that race---meaning, if they knew that Shani wasn't going to race, it would have left a spot for someone else to skate in, who wanted to skate, and so forth...there was plenty of days in between the skates...so I really don't understand the decision.if one is committed to the sport and to the USA I think they should skate in the events that they've qualified for.all in all, it's frustrating that so much attention was put on this...almost as much as snowboard cross.More Questions & Answers...
