If curling has become so popular, why is it not shown on the NBC main channel?

I have seen many reports talking about how curling has become a major phenomenon. However, when I look up the schedule, NBC never shows it on the main channel - that is, NBC itself. It is regulated to CNBC, MSNBC, and USA. What is your opinions on this?

because I think NBC might be afraid that is might not be something BIG enough for their viewers. I LOVE IT!!! A lot of strategy and skill is needed in order to win.

Sponsors sign deals during certain periods in the year. Usually before Christmas season in Nov. and before the start of summer in early May.

Since they weren't aware of curling last time, they haven't had the time to tell the networks of their willingness to sponsor curling-related shows or programs. Just give it some time, it may not happen this May yet (sponsors take time to be convinced), but eventually it will.
