If the hair restoration pill contains a banned substance then yes he should be banned. The fact that the principle use of the medication may be to grow hair doesn't really matter if one of the ingredients is banned by the IOC then the athlete must either avoid ingesting the substance or else face the consequences.If an athlete took a medication for an earache and that medicine contained cocaine the athlete couldn't expect us to believe them when they say: "Hey...I have a sore ear so I take Ear-B-Gone,I didn't take it for the cocaine that is also in it that may enhance my performance!" The athlete should have used another treatment for his sore ear, one that did not contain a banned substance.
