Well, they're doing pretty well at the moment. After 22 events declared, the Russians are on 4 golds, 3 silvers and 2 bronzes. Carry that on to the end of the games and you are looking at potentially 15 golds, 12 silvers and 7 bronzes which compared to Salt Lake City would put them top of the medals table by quite some considerable margin
