What event is the hardest in women's gymnastics?

Question:Which is the hardest or most competitive?

Vault, Floor, Bars, or Beam?

Answers:

How do you become a better hurdler in track?

It is different for every gymnast. Most however stuggle with beam the most. You are in the air on something that is only 4 inches wide. There is no room for error. And even elite gymnasts will make mistakes on it more often than in other events.

Any one think of anything that fans at olympics have done which is positive or negative within the past 10 yrs

that is a personal opinion. For me it is probably beam or bars but that is because I have good power so tumbling is easy for me. most people have issues with beam because it is so small and high up. but like i said before it is a personal opinion.

Who broke the World Record for 110M hurdles?

its a matter of opinion, but most think beam, i think vault

Do you know this guy?

BEAM BEAM BEAM BEAM. Sure you tumble on floor you swing on bars, but what about flipping and tumbling on a 4" wide beam, 4ft high, trying to stay on it doing that. I MEAN HELLO who invented beam! Uhhh oh well I am good at beam, but fear eats me up.

HOPE THIS HELPS.

Who else thinks the romanian gymnasts aren't as good as they used to be after the retirement of their coach?

On the contrary of all that has been said, I find beam to be my best and easiest apparatus to perform on. I LOVE beam because I am not afraid of falling or heights and have no more of a problem doing what I do on floor on the beam. The hardest for me is vault. I always dreaded when it was my turn in the competition, they put me as an all around gymnast. But I HATED vault because it was my weakest.

Floor and bars are probably the most competitive, you see a lot of talent in those and those are the two events people train most for. I train most for floor, enjoy beam more, equally enjoy bars, and hate vault.

It's all a matter of opinion.

Why did olympic announcer speak french and english at 2000 olympics?

Well that more of an opinion. The hardest for me by far is beam. But I think that the most competitive is floor because that is almost every ones favorite. It is harder to get first place on floor than to get first place on beam.

Which city hosted the centiniel olympic games?

I would have to say Vault. The difficulty in beam is all mental. You see less girls specializing in Vault than in any other even. It takes a great deal of power, coordination and awareness of your body when it is in the air.

The idea of sportmanship has changed over the years. Should professional sports player act in particular way?

Like almost everybody else who has answered this question, I am going to say that flipping on a 4 inch wide beam 4 feet in the air is the hardest event, but that is just my personal opinion. My friend's favorite event is beam, so it varies from gymnast to gymnast.

How many feathers does an official olympic "birdie" in badminton have?

Im quite good at floor and can do some pretty advanced stuff with that. Im also pretty good with bars and getting better with vault.
Beam gives me the most trouble but I dont dislike it. I think a lot of gymnasts dont like it or consider it harder than the other events because when you make a mistake on beam it is very obvious no matter how little mistake it is. I mean on the others, you may not stick the landing but people wont notice it as much compared to wobbling all over the place on the beam...or god forbid you fall off. And when you are in a competition with people watching, it is really hard to keep concentration when you make a mistake on the beam.

Where is the olympic homepage of athens 2004 to be found?

Hands down it's the beam
It's also the hardest to watch. It scares the crap out of me!

Does anyone do track??

i honestly think it is beam
because of the extreme tricks and because
you have to keep balance..
one wrong move and off you go...
especially during the harder moves...
back handspring, lay outs...etc.

How to learn a back handspring?

This depends on each person, but here is how I feel. Bars is hardest for me. It takes lots of stomach muscles and timing. Vault is a little difficult too because I am a slow runner. The faster you run and harder you jump the easier it is. Beam is only hard if you are scared or have really bad balance. Once I overcame the fear, beam became really easy. Floor is pretty easy as long as you have good endurance. There is a pretty slim risk of falling, and less opportunity to get hurt.
