Based on participation at the Olympics, you would have to say the Track and Field events are the most popular. It does get the largest venue and largest viewers. Of the T&F, 100m is the most glamorous and most popular. Gymnastics is second. The women's all around is probably the most watched. But it is hard to narrow it down to 15 since Track and Field is many different events going on at the same time.
