How do they get the Olympic Torch across an ocean?
If the "flame" is supposed to come directly from Athens, via a running human, how do they get it across the Atlantic/Pacific? No open flames on airplanes, does the poor marathoner jog around a cargo ship for weeks?

We had special Torches, for small distances, island to island, they burn underwater like the ones you see the divers use in movies. For the rest of the way, boat or even plane for the ocean.Run on the ball of foot/toes (not heels). Could someone explain what that meant?
