How long is the outer lane in a track and field court(?)?
This government will always find a way to take whatever it wants from the people to pay for whatever it wants (for its' benefit), whether it be lottery cash or other taxes. As usual in this country. the only ones to gain from the Oympics will be the people of London - they will have something at the end, what will the rest of the country have - nothing but empty purses to pay for this governments pleasures. I think your question says it all "Londons Olympics!". I personally stopped playing the lottery over a year ago as, apart from never winning even a tenner - I was extremely unhappy about the wastefulness of the lottery monies - Good causea and charities - you must be jioking! Immigrants and wasters get the money!! (i.e. The Olympics)! What is the color of the middle top ring of the olympic flag?
Lotteries are, to be blunt, a tax on being bad at math. The whole point is to collect funds from the population, and occasionally give some of it back. Lottery winners usually get their winnings in monthly installments. This is done so the state can use the rest of the money as part of the budget.
There's nothing unusual about using lottery funds for a state project, as a matter of fact, it's what a lottery is FOR. The only reason this made the newspaper is because a reporter is either a moron who can't do research, or is sensationalizing something boring and routine.
They might as well have written an article about the "Shocking new abuse of power" inherent in police "writing tickets for exceeding posted speed limits" and presenting it as something new.
What is the one olympic event where the womans world record beats the mens?
part of the granting of a licence 4 camelot 2 run the lotto, was that the Government can legally dip in2 it as & when they like 4 various pet-projects or social fund short-falls.which is why camelot run it & branson stood no chance!
i still have doubts over the Olympic vote.
it was rigged & the government knew the Lotto would take up the slack!
