Well India has made great strides in development and has rich cultural spots to visit. Indias mass transit systems remain a point of concern, the fact that the tourists are not really safe from criminals and local merchants pulling fast ones on them is also an issue. The traffic on the streets and highways isnt the best of the region. Lastly the worst thing for the tourists is the throngs of pan handlers ever present at all the high tourist traffic areas. I believe India has good venues and offers a great over all trip experience and the games are going to be moderately sucessfull compared to other developed countries. The visitors are just going to have to keep an eye out.
