How many Olympic medals has the US won in the sport of Archery since its inception again in 1972?
I trained for 8 years, until the end of 1971 when I was forced to retire from the sport due to severe medical problems; just months before the tryouts were to take place. I think my friend and fellow shooter , Richard McKenney, from Muncie, IN. won some World and possibly Olympic medals but I lost contact with all my former friends in the sport after my retirement.
