Ice skating terms?
what's a toe loop, axle, lutz, sow cow? they're all jumps in figure skating, but they all look the same to me. What's the difference?

all the jumps are different because of basically the "take off" or how you go into it- Also, which edge you take off and land on make the jumps different and more or less difficultfor example, a flip is when you start out going forward, turn, put your toe-pic in jump and spin- on a lutz you start out going backwards, put your toe pick in and spin by sort of wrapping yourself around- a single toe loop is one of the easiest jumps because its not even really a full rotation-
An axel is especially difficult because its like two jumps in one (for a total of 1.5 rotations in the air) for a single
