Should there be a Parody Olympics?

Question:I've often thought this could be fun. Contestants would be randomly chosen from all of the nations and they could be average citizens. The events would be different with themes still resembling games or sports and being more fun, funny, and less uptight.

Events might include:

Downhill ski / Play minigolf / Eat as many hotdogs as you can.
Basketball Freethrow - From Escalators down into goals.
Coffee swimming event - Start with full cup and try to get to the end without spilling any.
Splash Dive - The biggest splash wins.
People sled event - Dogs in drivers seat, people do the running.
and more
