Do you think the next Olympics will run smoothly? I'm concerned.?
Yes! More money, better sport, keeps our kids out of trouble and training hard in the gym or pool or on the ice or wherever. More money leads to kids that are healthier, well balanced and better at time management. This is a proven fact with kids who participate in year round sports! Should they not be rewarded in some way with some type of monetary compensation?who cares, its already costing enough, and for what?? a silly medal?
As far as I am concerned, they are spending too much on sports already. We have real problems, yet billions of dollars a year are being dumped into sports, Athletes are becoming the richest people in the world, for playing a game.
It is time to start spending money in the right places. Who cares if we come in first at the Olympics if our country is still in despair and disarray? Feed the homeless, employ the unemployed, then maybe we can find some extra money for sports.
Who is the fastest runner for the men category?

Is it true that Foosball is going to be an Olympic sport?
I think Britain's grass is fine. Look at Wimbledon the grass there is always top notch. And I bet you the new Wembley will have a great green, crisp, fresh lawn too.If I was you I would worry less about the grass our Sportsmen (and I hear there might be Sportswomen too in the future) will be playing on and more about the actual sportsmen. I blame it on a lack of funding but that's a different question I guess.
