Who do you contact if you want to run the 800 & 1500 in the olympics?

i want to run the 800 and the 1500 for the United States. My times qualify. Quals started Jan 1, 2007 and end June 15, 2008. Where do I go or what do i need to do?

You must run qualifying times in a sanctioned event. That is a track meet that is sanctioned by the U.S.A.T.F. or a college meet within the U.S. The national championships in 2008 will be the Olympic trials. If you qualify for the national championships, finish 3rd or better with an Olympic qualifying time the U.S.O.C. will take care of getting you to the Olympics.
