What is the best way to clean a suede western saddle seat after mice have made their mess on it?

I'm going to answer this in point form for you.

Food:
1)Trail Mix - peanuts, raisins/cranberries, smarties, almonds, caramel popcorn...and anything else you think is good. Make up a couple bags of it. It's great for snacks and energy.
2)I like to bring hard-boiled eggs, and pre-cooked bacon for breakfast.
3)Pepperettes and Cheese, lunch
4)Fruit-to-Go's. They taste great and are good for you.
5)Crystal Light - Turns water into yummy juice
6)Sidekicks - Easy to cook in pot on fire (get ones that only need water and butter - milk isn't for camping)
7)Beef Jerky
8)Meal replacement bars
8)Catch a Fish and fillet it.
9)Frozen meat, ie. steak, pork chops, sausages, will only stay good for one or two nights max. Keep them in a soft cooler and out of the sun. You can cook these up on a grill over the fire. Bring Mrs Dash - Good if you catch a fish too.
If you are on a campsite, and won't need to carry everything, it'll be easier. If you're planning on a hike, you might want to follow some of my listed foods above.

Gear:
1)Tent with Fly. Tarp if rain is forcasted, for inside of tent, line it with tarp, corners up toward ceiling.
2)Thermarests and sleeping bags. Try to get the lightest stuff possible. Keep them DRY.
3)Small cookstove - a saviour in the rain, or for quick cook-ups. I prefer the ones that use naptha/camp fuel, to propane. Lasts longer and uses less room in my pack.
4)Water Purifier - So much better to pump your own water than to carry around gallons of it. Nalgene containers are the best for all your liquid stuff. Some people break their eggs in advance, put them in a nalgene, and then pour them out into the frying pan.
5)Headlamp - a hands free headlamp is a must for camping! I can't live without mine.
6)First Aid Kit. Be prepared. Bad things do happen. A huge tree fell a few feet from my tent last year. I was lucky!
7)A whitle. A loud one. Scares away animals and attracts people if you need help.
8)A Knife. I couldn't go camping without my lockblade. Also bring thin rope or string. Always handy.
9)Bug Spray!
10)Light materialed, baggy clothing is best for summer camping. Bugs have a hard time biting through it cause they're baggy, they dry out fast if they get wet, and they're cool. The zip on/off short/pant deals work best. Light coloured clothing attracts less bugs. Comfy socks and shoes are important too.
11)Fishing pole and lures. What's camping without fishing?

I could probably go on, but you're probably wondering when I'm going to shut up, lol. Hope this helps!

Happy Trails!

Pack light weight clothing and make sure you bring along light weight jackets. Pack a umberla and insect spray. If you are camping out you should be able to cook under open fire so take a small skillet so you can cook some eggs and sasuage in and take one to two gallons of water. Make sure you take a flashlight and a swiss knife. Take marshmallows and chocolate and gram crackers for smores MMmmmmm. Take a compass and a watch along with you also. You will need a tent and some sleeping bags and just in case it gets cool at night take a blanket or two. You can also take along a small grill in case you need it. Food to take would be eggs, bacon, sasusge, bread, water, granola bars, hot dogs and things of that nature. Well I hope I was of some type of help. Have lots of fun and dont forget to tell stories around the camp fire. :D

Best Place to go Fishing in the houston/Galveston Area?

this depends on the kind of camping you are doing. If you are backpacking or canoing, then you will definitly need to get good shoes to prevent ankle injuries, pack light bc kids aren't very strong... but if you are going in a campsite, then you are close to civilization and you won't necesarily need to pack as light. Also, if you are in a campsite then you could bring a cooler and you could bring some foods that would need to refridgerate. Definitly bring:
Dried foods and bread and WATER
make sure you bring polypropaline long underwear and good sleeping bags.. even if the forecast is in the 80's with full sun.
bring quick dry clothing (bc you won't have a lot to change into in case you get your clothing wet)
rain gear
cards
flashlights and batteries
bathing suits

Air rifle upgrade from 170 m/s to 190 m/s ? is it worth?

Easiest food I have ever cooked camping was Ramen noodles or soup in a cup. All you have to do is boil water and add the noodles and spices (and ramen is light!). Soup in a cup (several different brands) is easy because you just add the boiled water to the paper cups and there are NO dishes to clean.

flashlights (headlamp if you can...it frees your hands)
layers of clothing
hand wipes to keep your hands clean when eating, etc.
bug spray

Why do people hunt wolves?

all the answers are right. but here is the thing..i think that it is not safe to take your children to camping while you dont have the experience and skill. i mean instructions are ok but it is not ok to go camping depending on instructions. you may consider seting up a tent in your back yard and train your self and your children to learn the basic skills like cooking..keeping warm..what to do in case os rain..and things like that.because if you fail to do these things in your back yard , it would be much more safe for you and your children that if you failed somewhere in nature. when you feel like you are ok then go out and enjoy the nature and teach your kids to enjoy being in nature. remember that nature is strong so sometimes and in some situations it might be cruel..
have a nice time and be safe my friends
