Red line Blue line Green line Grey, does it really make a difference?
Everyone can catch fish on all these different colored lines, does the line color even make a difference?
Answers:
When I know I'm going out after a hard rain and the water is going to be muddy, I'll use the gold colored P-line.
When I'm going to be in a body of water that has a high presence of algea which gives it a murky green tint, I'll use a green colored line.
If the water is going to be crystal clear, I'll use a clear line with the best ratio of strength/low diameter (usually spiderwire supermono).
One more thing that I like to say when this topic airs - I bet that half the people who say red disappears the quickest and therefore use a red line have a blood red bait on the other end of the line?
If red disappears so quickly, why are they sucked into the "Red triggers strikes" mentality? Doesn't that kinda defeat the purpose? If the line supposedly disappears, doesn't the red on the bait that triggers strikes?
Is there a good caribou outfitter anyone recomends?
i dont think so.What was the biggest fish you have ever caught?
Only if YOU need to see the line(at night for instance).I'm buying my husband a rifle from my father - how can we ship it from NC to TX?
fly line is the best line; doesn't matter what colorWhats the best gun to carry around for self-defense?..?
yes i think sored is the first color to be dispersed in water
so it "disappeares" soonest
for that i recommend Cajun line
if that doesn't matter to you then try to find really thin but strong line
in which case i recommend spider wire
tight lines and good fishing
