What is the best way to tan a rabbit or small game animal?
cheaper - airsoft by farrealistic - im gonna say air soft because paintball markers look unqice (or however you spell it)
Hurts - paintball hands down
You can get paint bbs for airsoft.
For airsoft prolly just sun glasses or something over your eyes.
Paintball - Mask, then you porlly want to go with a long pair of pants and well igo in a t shirt and a hoodie. (you DONT need a cup, lol when its my friends first time i always get that qestion)
Im gonna go with paintball on the protection.
i find paintball to be more fun but it is way more expensive so you play less then you would airsoft, you can play airsoft when ever, when ever, not paintball.
I need some killer waterproof boots... What do you know?
i think that paintball is more expensive,it hurts more, the guns dont look like somthing thats been used in like a war, andpaintball needs more protection.Air soft is a lot cheaper,it dosent reqiuer a lot of proctecive gear,i think some guns can use paint bbs in it but im not sure, and airsoft huts a LOT less.I disagree about airsoft is cheaper. An upgraded airsoft gun, could cost up to $1000 or more. There are low end guns just like paintball guns. Most of them will start out around $250+ and with full tone upgrades, you could spend about $500 internally, and with any aiming device or scope you added on it will cost you another few hundred, especially if you use scopes or aiming device for the real steel. However you can start playing with essential equipment, such as: AEG, tactical vest, extra magazines, BBs, battery, charger, face mask or goggle for about $500+
I have played paintball and now I am a hard core airsoft player. A lots of paintballers have switched to airsoft for its realism and milsim. Neither is cheap when you choose to play with decent guns and gears. If you want more realism, then go with airsoft. They both hurt, if you don't wanna get shot, then duck! Paintballs are bigger travelling at about 300FPS and stock airsoft AEG (air eletric gun) travels at 280-300FPS using .02gram BBs. Most players upgraded theirs to 400 to 500FPS depends on their local rules. 500FPS are usually restricted because it's equivlent to 1 joule of energy, which can penetrate skin. And there are players who got shot up pretty good with BBs fired from a HOT gun.
Most games have chorograph device to measure FPS of your AEG or Gas gun. If your gun runs too hot, then you will not be allowed to play. It's a saftey issue we have to have be aware of.
Paint bbs are available but airsoft is a true honor system, but we don't use it in airsoft. You call hit once you get hit and rules are usually set before the game starts.
Paintballers uniform are usually more colorful especially after they get shot games after games.
Airsofters uniform are mostly military uniform, depends on the teams.
Both require basic protections for the eyes, goggles are MUST! Full face mask is option for some airsoft games.
I have never bled playing paintball, only bruises. I had got shot by the eyebrow right between the goggle and helmet and on the nose as well with blood all over my face. So when someone said airsoft doesn't hurt as much, then they probably haven't played that much. The games I have played are mostly composed of 20 to 50 players in a large boonie field, as well as CQB range.
If people said airsoft is cheaper, then they probably get their stuffs from wal-mart. Check out www.airsoftextreme.com, www.uncompany.com www.globalairsoft.com or www.wargameclub.com These shops offer decent prices.
Alrighty, This is an answer from someone who has experiance in both.
1. Airsoft is by far cheaper than paintballing
2. Paintballing is more realistic, as far as gameplay
3. The pain you will recieve from airsofting is more of a stinging sensation as compared to the bruises you will recieve from airsofting (neither of them really hurt all that much)
4.You can buy paint bbs for airsoft, but their performace is terrible
5. For each sport i would HIGHLY reccomend a facemask which covers the entire face and most of the neck. For paintballing i would also wear goggles if you have a facemask with a breathable eye piece.
6. I would say that each sport demands an equal ammount of protection (mainly the face)
6. I'd like you to know that unless your serious about paintball, do not spend a lot of money on all the equipment. I play airsoft, and i dont play all the time, id say about 2-3 times a month, and its a lot of fun for a relatively low cost.
Hope that helps. -Tony
