Going camping what to bring?


I'm hopefully going camping during spring break(sometime in mid april) and i live in maryland. Where should i go camping and what do I specifically need.

Water-at least 1 liter for short day hikes of 6 miles or more.

it kinda depends on where you camp. most state parks have bathroom facilities, so rule out the shovel. you probably should take your own TP.

dry wood, matches and a firestarter are great. tent. sleeping bag and pillow. lots of junk food, of course hot dogs and marshmallows. ice chest for milk and juice.

the less stuff you take the better. have fun.

Firearm values?

Rope is always handy. Never know what emergency will require rope. And I personally always take a good sharp hip knife. Millions of uses.

Also, make sure common sense in in ample supply. Thats usually the best tool in the wild.
