Do anyone knows what's the difference between a 3 stroke marine motor and a 4 stroke motor?
I want to get a 8 horse power outboard motor. They got one in a 3 stroke and one in a four stroke. How much difference is it with the power?

If you decide to go with a 2 cycle, you will need to mix your oil...cheap junk.,
No such thing as a three stroke..Two stroke(two cycle in which you either mix oil or has an oil injector system into your fuel system) 4 stroke in which is like your car,Lawn mower..(have valves and DONOT mix oil in gas.SYSTEM..Steve B
Should buy a Glock, or a Springfield XD 45 Tactical?
you are probably thinking two stroke and four stroke. four stroke you don't mix you oil, sort of like your car. it has its own oil tank for lubrication. two stroke you will have to mix oil with the gas unless you get a motor that has oil injection. four strokes in the older motors wasn't as fast as the two strokes but have come a long way. you will get better fuel milage from the four stroke but you will pay quite abit more for it, so it may just be a trade off. good luck in your search and decision.Need ideas for simple catfish and carp bait ?
