There's an indoor kart track in Columbus. I think it's called Speeds. If you want REAL kart racing I don't know of a track in Ohio that offers it, but New Castle Motorsports Park in New Castle, IN offers an arrive and drive program. It's about halfway between Richmond and Indianapolis just off I-70. www.newcastleraceway.com

Also check out www.tsracing.com they list kart tracks by state, and you may be able to find one with rental karts that I'm not aware of. Our club in Camden doesn't offer them, nor does Circleville. Good luck and have fun!
