Thinking about purchasing new shotgun.?

Right now I have an old Sears M200. It's been good, got a nice buck last Thanksgiving using it. Now I'm wanting a new shotgun with a 3 1/2" chamber instead of a 2 3/4". I found the one I want which is a Remington 870 Express. The only thing is I want the best choke for for using Slug and Buckshot with the best accuracy. I have the option of a Fully Rifled choke and Turkey Extra Full. The only reason I ask is that I've heard a full choke is better for Buckshot, but I'm unfamiliar with the Fully Rifled Choke. I'm thinking about the Fully Rifled, but thought I'd like another opinion.

Where on the Internet can I find 9mm Makarov ammo for a good price?

I've never heard of a Remington Express is a 31/2 in. chamber. I thought they were always 3in and would also accept 2 3/4 in shells. I believe the 3 1/2 in is a waste. They kick like he!! and hurt after a while. The shells are expensive and harder to find. Just stick with a gun that will take 3in and 2 3/4 in shells. The Remington 870 express is a great gun.

You can only shoot slugs out a a fully rifled barrel. I suggest that you get a choke set. Use full or modified for buck shot and improved for slugs. You can't shoot buckshot out of a rifled barrel. Get a choke set and you can shoot slugs, buckshot, and bird shot.

Mossberg 500 guns come with a choke set. full, mod, and improv. I bought one for $204 at Wal-Mart recently. Read what Mossberg says about chokes and buckshot/slugs.

i have been using a 870 express, for 20 years, fill my deer tags with it 90% of the time. cant see deer every time you go out as you should know. but i shoot buck- shot, for rabbit and turkey, and shoot Remington sabot slugs, for deer with the same choke. i use the super modified choke, it is a very good all around use choke. you can go from shooting buck-shot to slugs and not change the type of choke. with the same super modified choke,i also go to turkey-shots and win 7 out of 10 rounds, with the same choke. the 870 express will carry 2 3/4" and 3" shells also. hope this info helps you. happy and safe hunting to you.

What is the nicest state park near Jacksonville, FL?

I would recommend getting a remington 870 or 1100. Mossberg is also a good brand.

Bait for Pay lakes and making $$$ on them?

you seem to be mostly asking about chokes, right?
Unless I am severly confused (which is always possible), this gun uses screw-in choke tubes. Based on this, you want both choke tubes, and change them depending on what you're after. The "Turkey extra full" choke would be damaged by a slug in all likelihood, and rifled chokes, I am told, do strange things to shot patterns (like make them into donut shapes).
If the 870 Express is different than the standard 870 by not using screw in chokes, it's probably not the tool for the job you want to do.
