I am looking for the value of a Ruger 9mm handgun.?
I am a widow and my husband was a gun collector. My sons are going to keep most of them, but a co-worker of one son is looking for a hand gun and was interested in the Ruger. I do not remember what we paid for this gun. It is about 8 years old I believe. Can anyone tell me what a fair price woud be?

The most efficient and reliable way to give yourself an idea is to go to a LOCAL gun shop and just look around for Ruger 9mm guns. Just act like a browsing customer ("just looking for right now, thank you"). Gun values are VERY LOCALIZED. Blue books (oh brother) and gun magazine annuals do not state real values.
