Who in the United States makes a FIXED 10 round magazine for the SKS?
This isn't very hard, I had one of these neat little German pistols, mine was a 32, but they also made it in 25 and 380. Production was from 1919 to about 1926, first by Ortgies, then taken over by Deutsche Werks.This is from the NRA Firearms assembly book, I'll try to describe it without the pics...
Remove magazine, pull the slide back until the serration lines up with the end of the frame (not very far). Push the take-down catch (this is the button above the left grip), and lift the end of the slide free of the frame, and push it foward off the barrel.
If you want to remove the grips, there is a release in the back of the magazine well, push it while gently prying out the grips, then they just snap back in.
To reassemble, push the firing pin spring and guide into firing pin until end of guide can be pushed into its notch in top of the slide. Hook slide over barrel, pull it to the rear and downward.
