How to spool a reel with SpiderWire's braided line. 20#?

Beach fishing- hooks and tackle are going to depend on the fish you are fishing for. Ask at a local fishing shop. Couple things to keep in mind generally about surf fishing.
1) Long rods are better- 9' or better. The longer rods, with a two hand grip, will enable you to cast much farther.
2) Don't use lines or to big tackle, you want to be able to feel the fish.
3) The best time to fish is on the changing tide. Get a tide chart.
4) If your fishing in sand you'll want a sinker that will hold the bottom. In the states we use pyramid shaped sinkers. Put them on as the last part of your tackle. Attach it with the point down so the wide part of the sinker holds. Use some leader and snelled hooks above the weight with your bait. Ask locally whats working.

The best thing to do is to join a fishing club when you get there. Let them know you are just a beginner and i'm sure there will be lots of help forthcoming, and best of all it will be local knowledge.

Well the gulf of mexico is different than Holland waters but when i fish, i usually use shrimp. but thats only because its a local treat for the fish. so look into bait fish of that area. it also depends on what your fishing for! Good Luck

when it all comes down to it your best bet is to just go to a local tackle shop near the surf. they will be able to advise you best on local baits and hooks. as far as a rod you will probably need a nine or ten footer with a large spinning reel. three to four ounce weight to get long casts into the deeper water.

Repair parts for a diamon hunting bow?

Usually casting upon the second to third set of waves is best. Fishing is quite productive right at the lowest point in tide, and as the tide begins to come in they begin to feed. Sandshrimp are my bait of choice, when using them rip off the body and only use the tail. If you try to use the whole thing, the bait will rip off during casting. I'd recommend a weight of about 3 to 4 ounces triangle shaped. Good luck.
