Best months of year and conditions when to go blue crabbing in south Florida?

Going crabbing (blue crab) the past three months, Dec, Jan,Feb caught three crabs once. Is there a time of year when its best? Also is it better depending on the tide and current conditdions? I live in south Florida, Hollywood area

I caught crabs once from this girl in daytona, that was in march. why don't you try in that area,lots of girls have crabs there

I am from the Florida panhandle. Up there, the best time is when it's warmer. South Florida may be a little different, but I would think not much different.
