How to build up endurance??(walking)?


How can I build my endurance, in april I am going to do a big trip in spain and I am going to have to walk around 20 km per day. I need to build my endurance for the walking not running!

swim a lot, whenever you can. do all the strokes, if you do it a lot you'll get a lot of muscles and good endurance, and 20km isn't that far, its only 12.2 miles, and it's walking not running. You would do best running on a cross country training schedule. then you'd realize that 12.2 miles walking isn't that bad!

just walk a lot. first go around the block. and then try to increase your time. then start walking around more blocks.

biking, swimming, more walking, anything to increase your cardiovascular and edurance. start small and gradually go further each day or week, before you know it 20k will seem like nothing.
