Fishing in Austin, Texas?

I live in Austin, Texas and I was wondering if yall knew any good fishing spots for bass. I don't own a boat so I would just be fishing off of the banks. Also, I know it is starting to get cold and that would be a factor in finding a good spot. Any suggestions??

go to lake corpus christi. it is drive,, but you go behind the dam you will max out on all types of bass in a few hours. Use crappie minnows they are cheaper than bass minnows and work just as well maybe better.
