Can u eat sea robins and skates?
I heard u can eat these fish and they taste pretty good. Is there any special way to fillet them?

You can eat stingray.Cut off there "wings". Skin the "wings". Then use a sharp cookie cut-er to make "rounds".
Stingrays taste like Scallops, (if fried).
You shouldn't eat any ray that is over 6-8 Lb's. They are bottom feeder's and tend to carry more trace mercury than other fish. The larger ones also tend to have cigatuera (spelling?) toxins, ( like big 'Cuda's).
It's a lot of work for a "faux scallop" dinner. Long John Silver's is safer! (maybe!) LOL
No you can't eat either of them. I guess it is possible, but it is not worth your time. Skates and Sea Robins both have alot of bones and cartilage. The only things they are good for is bait, and pissing people off because they took your bait. Do not eat them, it is not worth the bad taste and lack of actual meat on the fish.

Depending on your culture, you can eat pretty much anything. Sting-rays (skates) are pretty good. The meat has a good texture and when seasoned right, tastes really good. I have a good friend who is from Taiwan who I go fishing with. There are some fish even he won't eat but they are almost all edible for him. And when he cooks, I eat!
