Buying an airsoft gun?
Question:I am going to buy a airsoft gun for a amateur tournament that I am going to be in. I was wondering what are the different types? I was looking at a nonblowback gas gun but I couldn't figure out if I would have to * it for every shot or not. I need to get the cheapest gun that you don't have to * every shot so if you have any suggestions shout them out as well.

the gun when you have to cok then shoot is a spring gun...for an amateur tournament where there are not any restrictions such as pistols only springs only fps limit etc. check out jungletoy.com for 75 bucks you can get an ok aeg (eletric) you can probably get a gas gun for arround 75 bucks..but its probably a plastic one thats blow back...i haven't seen any that cheap thats metal and non-blowback...it'll probably shoot arround 250- 300 fps which is pretty good..but on blowbacks u use co2 or what ever your using for the slide and to shoot the bb...personally if i were you and i didn't have a restrictions i'd have 2 fully metal non blowback gas guns with at least 2 extra mags.(you never kno and when your outta ammo and didn't listen ill laugh lol) and ill probably get a daisy buck at walmart or something for 20 bucks...its a pump gun thought but its only single stroke and you can probably take out a the whole team one by one wit that but practice for around 2 or 3 days before u expect any accuracy with that...because i had a hard time but i was trying to shoot from really fr ranges and trying to hit a little circle ...and use the pistol(s) to cover yourselfTip: if u have a fully auto side arm or something else fully auto get a hi-cap mag and just spray the bunker the person is in it'll get him to duck and give u time to run accros and into a better position

-ElectricThis means it fires without pumping, you will pull the trigger and either a single shot will come out, or a full auto stream. many guns have both features. (no pumping at all)
-Gas
Same as electric, only instead of a rechargeable battery, you just fill it with gas every so often. blowback only means the top part of the gun pulls back every shot, not whether its semi auto or not. Gas normally have alot better FPS and RPM's. (Feet per second, Rounds per minnute).
-Spring
Higher FPS on average than electric or gas, but you must pump for every shot.

For around 65 bucks I think you might want to check, you can get a really sweet gas non blowback called the KJW MK1. I'ts really good I've got it and its around 350 fps which is really powerful and intimidating and a hella ouch factor, pierces skin at 40 feet! But thats probally the best your gonna get with 75 bucks. I also reccomend getting an extra mag. I wouldnt reccomend an AEG because one for 75 bucks will have low fps and crappy range/rate of fire, you'll be able to dodge the bbs.
