Where is a good place to rent kayaks in CT?

Auto-Ordinance without a doubt. I had purchased a RIA 1911 basic model in 2005 and never bothered to even fire it. The barrel was pitted(!) due to lack of preservative, the slide was very sloppily made, and the gun is ISO (metric)! Auto-ordinance 1911s are no longer like the used to be after the company was turned around by Kahr Arms. I actually own a Kimber but would get an Kahr-Thompson (Auto Ordinance) WW2 model over a SA GI model or RIA GI model.
KT-AO 1911s are made in America, not Brazil or the Philippines.

Do you think hunting and trapping is morally right?

I would opt for the Auto Ordinance. I am suspicious of the Rock Island gun. The Wilson barrel, guide rod, and spring is about $150. upgrade. So why, after spending all that, is the owner getting rid of it so cheaply?? The owner may have thought that a good quality barrel would improve accuracy. But if the barrel is not fitted properly accuracy does not improve and jams are possible. The gun may need some competent gunsmithing work to get it to run right.
The Auto Ordinance, now owned by Kahr, sounds like it has not been messed with. A decent gun and the money is right.

What would be the best gun to use, deer hunting on a very large corn field.?

I have both models and they both shoot about the same... But the rock-island barrel does not come polished to accept hollow-points so they tend to jam, and the other down fall is not all parts are interchangeable with out a little machining on the rock island such as barrel bushings, mag release theres are just a Little larger. Auto Ordnance i have I have not had any problems at all and is almost 95 % interchangeable with every other 1911 I have encountered. I would go with the Auto Ordnance, i assume it has houge grips from the way you have explained them... But overall if i had the cash i would buy both.
