My hummingbird rf30 fish finder only works close in, is there a battery in the sender if so how do i change it

The little orange thing that you cast out contains a battery, but its sealed so you have to replace the whole thing costing about £30 i think. But iv seen them on ebay go for about a tenner,

If you buy a new one, make sure the little sensor on the bottom is dry every time you put it away, cos it is water reactive and will stay on if wet, using up the battery life.
