Bubble in compass?
Answers:
What is the correct way to tie a fishing lure to the line?
Bubbles inside of compasses are not a good thing. Because of the cohesion factor of water, the needle will slightly pull towards the direction of the bubble.Even a slight pull though will cause the compass to be off at a distance. Unless of course you are using the compass to head general directions, in which case the needle doesn't point true north, instead pointing magnetic north which is actually somewhere in Canada right now as it moves constantly. Invest in a good compass like a silva ranger and learn to use it properly if you want to stay found.Whats the diffence between electric guns and semi auto?
Yeah, I bought one of those at a sporting goods store on the coast. I went up into the mountains to go hiking and discovered a big ol' bubble in my compass! There's no way to fix it. Maybe they put it in on purpose because fluids will not expand or contract. The compass might shatter if there was no air to act as the pillow between differing outside air pressure
