What is an good affordable snowboard that I can get as a gift for my brother. And what size-he is 6' tall?

He is an amateur snowboarder, and goes abour 3-6 times a year. He does not currently own a snowboard now. He doesn't do many tricks, but he does like to ride fast.

Florida record for BeeLiner?

definitely try ebay...thats where i got my first one...some good brands (that are cheap used but rather $$ new) are burton and K2

as for being 6 feet...look for a board around 160cm...it should come to just below his chin...and for a beginner, dont get anything bigger than about 165cm. and if hes not doing tricks...just flat riding, then look for a stiffer board without so much flex

good luck!!

if youre looking for an affordable board go to ebay. they have packages there that include a board, bindings, and boots. these are usually between $200-300. just do a search for "snowboard package" and most of them will come up. lamar is a decent low end name. i borrowed my friends old lamar back when i was learning. just remember though, as with anything else, the more you spend the more quality youll get. dont go too cheap. good luck with the purchase.
