Has anyone ever heard of or been Snipe Hunting?
When I was 17 my BF said he wanted to take me Snipe Hunting, I'm 38 now and still don't know what that means or what a Snipe is.

actually a snipe is a bird. but the idea is to get you out someplace and have you hold the sack while they run the snipe up to you. usually you are supposed to make some stupid noise and then after a while, you notice that there are people standing there laughing.

Although probably meant as a joke, a Snipe is actually a bird. This is where the military term "Sniper" comes from. You had to be a good shot to hit these from distance.Have you noticed people against hunting tend not to have the same feelings about fishing?
