Go below a Dam or steam plant.We shoot all year long and if you are ever in TN. go below Center Hill Dam.the gar and carp there are huge and very plentiful.Watts Bar dam also has some very big gar.If you like bowfishing alot you should get SCUBA certified and try spearfishing for cats,it's AWESOME!

yes they are but they tend to move into deeper water. this can make bowfishing difficult
