no new law makes it against the law to buy one without it but the have one that has just the tip in orange you can remove the tip or what i did was bought a can of black spray on Teflon coating for cooking pans and you cant tell it was ever orangeMost of the time now days no you will not find one without an orange barrel, but there is a company called Crosman and some of their airsoft toys don't have an orange barrel. I think those might be the older styles though. Wal-mart usually carries Crosman products so go to any near by store and see what you can find. Those orange barrels are for your own protection though. They were added to keep people from getting shot by security or police agencies.

nope they gotta have em so the cops know that it isnt a real gunNope. U can spray paint it but the cops might shoot u if they see u with like a submachine gun w/o an orange tip. In an airsoft war tho, even if your a guerilla sniper, the tip doesn't give anything away so s'coo. Dont worry about it.
