depending on what type of fish you are fishing for, trout you can use flys homeade or store bought if you are catfishing than fish useing shrimp and if your perch fishing use little bits of real worms and if you bass fishin than just use a spinner that you think is suitableWhere's the salmon run in P.A.?

Your question is way to vague. What type of fish? Where are you fishing? What are the conditions? I simply can't tell you anything without this information included. Well if we had a little more to go on... but keep in mind we are pretty much in the post spawn.. fishing near bass beds right now can really pay off.. drop shots over a bed can produce post spawn females.. most of the males will have already headed to deeper waters.. divers, jig hopping and carolina rigged floating worms can help bring them up from the depths. and of course... use the structure you can get to off the edges.Sure. Several days before going fishing,check all regulations on whatever body of water you might end up on. Have at least two in mind. Then use the Internet and look for fishing shops in the area. These fishing shops will usually have web-sites that are a wealth of information and there are phone numbers that will put you in touch with knowledgeable people. Take precautions to be legal, safe, and let someone know exactly where you are going. A little bit of planning goes a long way.
